Dragan's Den is located near Plitvice lakes, in Vrhovine a small town well connected to Croatia's largest cities and towns via excellent train connections from Zagreb, Split, Zadar and Rijeka that run several times a day and roads that offers a genuinely lovely and scenic ride.
Full schedule and train timetables look up here. NOTE: Most of the trains are night trains, you are welcome to come through the night, the doors will be open. If you come by the night train, make sure to set your alarm to wake up before the train arrives at Vrhovine.

Arrival by train:
Once you arrive in Vrhovine you are 5 min away from us, walk to the back of the train station and take the road to the right and follow the way until you reach the main road. Turn left and walk until you reach the blue ATM sign. We are the yellow house number 62 on your left. *The train stops briefly, be ready to get off quick.

Arrival by Bus:
Those who are coming by Bus, there is Pick up shuttle at 18:30 at Entrance 2 of NP Plitvice near souvenir shop and a public toilet. Please send us an e-mail request for booking the shuttle with the number of persons and date of arrival.

Arrival by car:
If you are arriving with a car just use Google map and type: Dragan's Den Plitvice hostel, Vrhovine. GPS: 44.851713, 15.425201.
Coming with a car from Zagreb or Split, take E 71 and make a turn to D 52 road. Follow the DEN signs on Senjska street and look for a yellow/greenhouse with the number 62. We offer free parking.
Hostel shuttle to NP Plitvice Lakes:
Every day, we offer shuttle service to and from NP Plitvice Lakes. The shuttle departs from the hostel at 08:00 AM and from NP Plitvice Lakes at 18:30. Please send us an e-mail request to booking the shuttle with the number of persons and date of arrival.
How to book tickets to NP Plitvice Lakes:
Tickets can be bought only online.
1. Those who are coming by train should book 9 AM NP Plitvice Lakes ticket.
2. Those who are coming earlier by Bus to NP Plitvice Lakes should buy the ticket on the time of the bus arrival.
* Once you book a ticket you will have free luggage storage.
